I’ve been in IT a long time, and remember configuring BackOffice Server 4.0 for customers, right up until Small Business Server 2008 (I stopped doing on-premises work with the formation of Paradyne in 2010 so skipped the 2011 range).
Having spent a big portion of my career working with SMBs I have been a great fan of the Small Business Server range, however as Internet access becomes faster and cheaper the cloud is starting to eat in to the requirements for on-premises equipment.

Once of the things I joke about with customers is that over the years I’ve sold and deployed many SBS environments – now I’m spending my days actively shutting them down!
