Microsoft Teams: clearing the FUD

There’s been a number of blog posts and articles about Microsoft Teams since it was released less than a week ago.

Slack even wasted a lot of money getting a full page ad to stroke their egos while really cowering behind the couch.

Of course there’s also been the obligatory “Yammer is dead” posts.

So I thought I’d share a Microsoft Teams customer-facing pitch deck which explains how Microsoft Teams fits into the Office 365 world, alongside Yammer, Outlook, Office 365 Groups, and the others.

The important thing to note here is that Microsoft does not see that Microsoft Teams will do anything specific other than provide customers with another collaboration tool within the toolkit that is Office 365.
